This week in Amed… Two Fish Divers start the first PADI IDC in Amed ! Amed start to become some of the most famous diving place. Become a diving instructor and start to teach in good environment. It is magic when your students are distracted by a bumphead parrotfish while they are doing a hover skill.
The PADI IDC is conducted by the famous Platinum PADI Course Director Mark Soworka. IDC staff Matt is also here for helping Mark. Two candidates, Melissa and Andrea, are enrolled in the course. They already started their long preparation for becoming PADI instructors. Yesterday, they did the Emergency First Response instructor workshop. Be certified as EFR is a good experience for all divers. The candidates learnt how to teach the EFR course following the PADI standards and with fun !
The way is still long but they can do it as they work very hard to acheieve it. The candidates have a day off today, time for rest and for reviewing their homeworks. Tomorrow, it is the final stretch, serious things will start : second academic presentation and second open water presentation.
All Two Fish Divers staffs are excited and we all help them to raise their levels !
Of course Two Fish Divers also start the high season. Our diving guides Bayu and Gery were busy. They have finding a rare blue dragon nudibranch in Seraya. DMT Nora almost finish her course with us. That was a big challenge to complete the all the rescue skills in pool and ocean. But she did it !
