This week in Amed, we saw many Green Humphead Parrotfish! These amazing one-meter long creatures are usually seen in a school of 5 or 6. Swimming in the blue around the Liberty Wreck or simply eating the coral. Did you know that the excrements of parrot fish are actually white sand?
This week in Amed was also rich in new certification with Angeline, Michelle, and Kelly who got their PADI Open Water Certification! Such a great time for Arnaud and Cedric teaching them!
This week in Amed more than a thousand Hindu Balinese came on the beach in front of our dive center to celebrate Ngaben. These ceremonies happened a certain time of the year: the past dead people are cremated and sent to the water. A beach clean-up had to be done just after as the environmental awareness is not yet developed here.
