This week was a marvelous week for the guests and guides of Two Fish Divers Sanur. Every day we were incredibly lucky to spot Molas in Nusa Penida, with up to 3 Molas in one dive in Crystal Bay. The first day we hit the jackpot with Sophie, Daniel, Lulu and Wei. First we saw a big potato grouper in the blue, Wei went to take a video of the grouper…
Out of the blue, behind the grouper, appeared a Mola!! We were so lucky, and we were the first group to spot it! Later that same day we went to S.D. where an eagle ray passed by, also a very lucky and most beautiful encounter.
Lulu and Wei continued diving with us for a few more days. Their second day of diving in Bali was at the USAT Liberty shipwreck and the drop off in Tulamben, we spotted octopuses, a bumphead parrotfish, nudibranches and much more. The third day of diving was again in Nusa Penida with the primary goal to find more Molas and we were lucky again because during the first dive in Crystal Bay a Mola swam by!
If you would think that our luck would be finished by now you’re wrong because on the first dive of the fourth and last day we spotted 3 Molas at Crystal Bay! The last encounter was just amazing, all 3 Molas patiently posed for all the videos and pictures, enjoying their cleaning session. This was an amazing week!
Even though Mola season is nearly to an end we are hoping that we are still a bit lucky next week, because we love to see Molas a lot!
