My second week in Bunaken went far too quickly for my liking. I enjoyed a range of things from fun dives where I saw lots of beautiful marine life including many turtles, a bamboo shark and a pontohi pygmy seahorse to doing equipment repairs with the head dive guide, John. 

I spent a few days out of the water this week while I was ill doing theory and watching videos required for the DM course but I got straight back in again doing my mapping and rescue scenario practice with Karoline.

I’ve met a lot of lovely people during my two weeks in Bunaken from the guests to the dive guides and staff at Two Fish. I really am going to miss them all, but I’m sure I’ll meet lovely people in Lembeh as well.
