Hi there Two Fish Bloggers. My name is Ben from the United Kingdom and I am one week into my four week Divemaster internship on the beautiful island of Lembongan. I recently moved from Singapore to Shanghai and with a bit of time on my hands I decided it was time to do the DM course.
This week in tec, Kim, a certified cave diver got a chance to try sidemount diving in the pool for the first time with Blue Label Instructor Hiro.
This week in Bunaken… we have had a feast of colourful nudibranchs, starting with this great photo of a chromodoris reticular that was take by Annette who has returned for another visit but with a working strobe this time! Other colourful Nudibranchs that we found included Nembrotha Rutilans, Nembrotha Christata, Glossodoris and Janolos.
This week in Lembeh… What a great week for octopus, we’ve had a brilliant selection that was superbly titled by our guests as the Octopus Grand Slam!
Welcome to our weekly round-up #18, June 2014. This week we have spotted another Guitar shark in lembongan, we have had a pair of Pontohi Pygmy Seahorses in Bunaken, and we found a beautiful Coleman’s Shrimp in Lembeh.
THIS WEEK IN LEMBONGAN…we have been seeing a lot of pregnant manta rays around the manta dive sights this week, which means it will not be long before we have some mummy manta rays swimming around!
THIS WEEK IN TEC…. Bubble-less diving! We had Sam and Liana, scuba instructors working around the world, and Ben from Germany, trying out the Poseidon MK6 rebreather in the pool with Blue Label Diving Indonesia technical instructors Hiro and Sandy! As dive instructors, Sam and Liana were even more interested in finding out how rebreather…
THIS WEEK IN BUNAKEN …..we have been seen a tornado, but in this case it was of Big Eyed Jacks! Thanks Sandy for this shot.
