During a very exciting Advanced course in Bunaken this week we experienced some first time treats. First tigertail seahorse on the house reef, first bobbit worm out of its hole and first time a fish has jumped out of the water straight onto our student Jo!
Thats right, after a fantastic night dive to finish his Advanced and nitrox courses we were chatting about the evenings highlights when out of nowhere a large mullet jumped into the boat and gave Jo a real night dive to remember with a kiss on the cheek! Crazy but true folks, anything can happen out there.
Besides Jo completing his advanced course we have had Annika complete her advanced and nitrox course as well. Lena, Miki, Ola and Rezka have completed their open water diver course. Tom is currently teaching team Switzerland aka Norina and Valeska their open water diver course and they are preparing themselves for their first ever dives in the ocean tomorrow morning.
Helen has started a new course with Ellie from the UK. Of course we are still looking after Dan our latest dive master trainee who has been able to assist on lots and lots of courses since his arrival at the beginning of the week. It’s safe to say that our instructors are keeping busy.
Besides the students the resort is filled up with fun divers and BOY! are they having a fun time. Our Polish guest Slawomir went diving with Kres this morning on the early morning dive. They actually got to see dolphins…under the water! We are all slightly jealous but of course very happy for these lucky divers.
