This week started off with us spotting a Sperm Whale being washed ashore at the small jetty at Bunaken. I was pretty thrilled as this was the first time I had seen a whale although it was in a pretty bad state.

This week I assisted in a Discover Scuba Dive course as well. Along with that I conducted a snorkelling program and also did a mapping of the house reef. The map was quite fun as it was something new and makes you quite aware of your surroundings and the natural navigation.

A guest Dymphna was nice enough to share some the photographs she took during her dives. She loves macro photography and managed to find quite a bit in Bunaken.

Towards the end of the week my brother Alay also arrived at Two Fish to do his Advanced Open Water Course. I am accompanying and assisting him in his course.

This week after his course we are heading to Lembeh. I can’t wait as I’ve heard a lot about muck diving!
