Last week has been amazing for divers from Sanur in Nusa Penida! We spotted all the big stuff and more! Diving with Marco has been the peak of these days, with Threser sharks, Mola, Nemos, Manta Rays and Turtles, all in one day! I don’t think anyone has been that lucky ever on their first dive after the Open Water Course, spotting all this beauty.
With Otis and Silas, we went to Padang Bai, where we started our day in Jepun. Silas had some ear problems and enjoyed snorkelling while Otis was scuba diving. From down below, we waved at Silas and showed him the traffic sign that can be found on the second dive of the day in Turtleneck. In Turtleneck, we also found a leaf scorpion fish, cuttlefish, lizardfish and many more.
After diving with Two Fish Divers in several other places, Liz came to dive with Two Fish Sanur for a couple of days with her friend Felix. On the first day, they enjoyed Padang Bai where they found (amongst many other cool stuff) 4 frogfish! On the second day, we went to Nusa Penida where we first dived Crystal Bay, followed by a beautiful drift over Tugu.
For the last day of diving, we went to Tulamben where we started at the Drop Off. We spent most of our time on the sandy bottom where there are so many nudibranches, shrimps and crabs that we almost forgot that we were on the way to the drop off!
The second dive on the USAT Liberty wreck was the perfect way to end Liz and Felix’s dive holiday. We hope to see both of you back at Two Fish Divers soon for more dives and to find the ‘vertical flappy things’ (a.k.a Molas). Liz’s theory: if you say the name you jinx your own luck!.
At Two Fish Divers Sanur the Instructor Development Course has started this week and is taught by Course Director Tinsley and Staff Instructor Restuning. This awesome multilingual team is teaching Guillaume to become a PADI dive instructor. We wish everyone good luck and lots of fun during the course!
Start living the dream!
