This week in South Lombok, Eels are giving their best. Most eels live in the shallow waters of the ocean and burrow into sand, mud, or amongst rocks. A majority of eel species are nocturnal, thus are rarely seen. Sometimes, they are seen living together in holes, or “eel pits”. Some species of eels also live in deeper water on the continental shelves and over the slopes deep as 4,000 m.
We have spotted different kind of eels like moray eel and ribbon eel, and also have seen barracudas, turtle, whitetipreefshark, critters and crabs and all kind of nudibranch.
Alfred and Hilde from Germany are diving for more than one week with us now and there are still love every single dive. They liked the eels and the wonderful variation of our colourful under sea gardens here at the south gilis in Lombok.
We had that week Milena on board. She did her first dive a PADI Discovery Dive with us and she had the amazing experience to see right away a green turtle. The Turtle was so relaxed and felt no disturbed at all from our divers, so Milena could dive more than 10 minutes with her.
Hope to see you with us in South Lombok soon…

That is very pretty guy!
