With lots of night diving going on in Bunaken this week we had a lot of weird and special creatures spotted, freaky things come out in the dark! Giant collector crabs, basket stars, dwarf lionfish tiny cuttlefish, bobtail squid and slipper lobster are just a few of the beautiful things that usually are only spotted in the night time. Many of our divers this week were able to have this fantastic experience for the first time on our house reef right in front of the resort and just like us, they love to dive in the dark!
This week in Bunaken we had the pleasure of saying “welcome back to diving” after 14 years to our guest Angelo. He came to refresh his skills and gain his Advanced Open water license. Also getting his Open water and Advanced courses completed we had our friend Jack who worked really hard and made such a great student who we will all remember and miss from the resort. We said goodbye to our Divemaster trainee Tom who will move to stunning Amed in Bali to finish his training, we hope to see him again in the near future. Our good friend Ben from the Netherlands is back to see us again, he has lost count of how many visits he has with us now!
The sun is out, the diving is awesome, food is fantastic and at the end of the day, the beer is cold. What more could you want?
