Many people come to Lembongan asking only for Molas and for Mantas; and then, when they dive, they are impressed by the healthy and colorful reefs around Lembongan and Penida. The currents and the thermoclines keep the corals alive and awesome. Only in the photo attached, you can find different kinds of hard corals in the same small area, and there are many other species of hard corals, and gardens of soft corals, and huge barrel sponges, and tunicates… For us, guides, sometimes is difficult to find small stuff to point out to our Guests, because we get overwhelmed by the colors and quantities of everything.
This week we had a bunch of nice divers enjoying all that underwater wilderness, together with a few Sunfish, a bunch of mantas and other great creatures like harlequin Shrimps, orangutan crabs, schools of Batfish, big Napoleon wrasses, barracudas and so on 🙂
Diving with us, we had Stephen from the States, like Roger, also from the States but have always been a globetrotter, and diving since the 70s!, Fabianne and Curdin from Switzerland like Patrizia, and Marvin and Arvin from Germany, Sami from Taiwan… And also a few courses from very different levels: From Siobhan taking the Open Water with Anna, to Fabianne that became a Deep Diver, or Ockey that has finish her Divemaster Course (Congratulations!!!!) and this week started another Instructor Development Course with Bas as the Course Director, and with 7 candidates: Tom, Chris, Marina, Andreas, Bo, Podge and Angie.
Thanks a lot Uwe Jacobs for another one of your great photos!!!
