This week we found a huge sea Snake in Nusa Penida! During our safety stop, It was drifting over the beautiful coral reef of the dive site S.D. Our diver of the day Joe and guide Iris were stunned by its massive size and both had not seen such a huge sea Snake before! This safety stop was the perfect end to a few days of diving for Joe from Hong Kong.
With Joyce, her husband Wing from Hong Kong and their diving buddy Lan Yen from Taiwan we went diving in Padang Bai. They were supposed to dive with Two Fish Divers in Nusa Lembongan but the weather changed the plans around. In Padang Bai the waves are less high than in Nusa Lembongan so Joyce changed their group’s dive plan around for the day.
We started at Bias Tugal with one and only goal, finding and photographing Pygmy Seahorses. During the second dive Ming took incredible pictures of Pipefish, Lionfish, Cuttlefish and an angry giant Frogfish. We are looking forward for Wing sharing these pictures on Facebook!
With Darren we went to dive in Candidasa. We started out at Gili Mimpang and spotted 6 white tip reef Sharks and an amazing amount of schooling fish. The waves were too high to go to Gili Tepekong so we went to the Jetty for our second dive in Turtle Neck and around the wall were we found a needle Cuttlefish, leaf Scorpionfish, Cowfish, and many more.
