It’s been time for fun and some magic muck diving in Amed, Bali this week. As well as our frequent trips to the USAT Liberty and other places we welcomed returning Two Fish guest Simon for 5 days who wanted to see what all the muck diving fuss was about here. And we delivered in style 🙂
Along with eagle eyed guides Kadek and Gede we took him to a multitude of different muck diving sites along the coast here, by day and by night, including a couple of trips to his (and our) favourite Seraya Secret. Having ticked nearly all his wishlist on a trip to Lembeh with Two Fish Divers, Simon came desperate to see Harlequin Shrimp which he hadn’t seen in Lembeh – so Kadek found him some on the second dive of his first day, as well as more later on in the week. What else did they see? The list is almost too long to mention but includes Tiger, Bumblebee and Harlequin Shrimps, frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, seahorses (both pygmy and full sized versions), a multitude of nudibranchs and smaller pipefish, leaf fish, octopus…etc etc.
And Simon also took part in the first ever night dive on our house reef, where they found Coconut Octopus, Bobtail Squid, many nudis and worms.. and a Stargazer.!! Not bad at all!
So Simon left happy and with some great photos – and having been to our Lembeh and Lembongan resorts before it made us very happy when he said that overall this was his favourite diving 🙂 Go Amed Muck – we’re proud of you!!!
