Welcome to our Weekly Roundup! Last week we had sharks, memo fish, sea serpents, mandarin fish madness and a look at why protect sharks.
In Bunaken we were overrun with sharks on all of our dives; in Lembeh we had we’ve had Mandarin Fish madness with the dives as popular as ever; in Lembongan we had sea serpents slithering around the dive sites; in TEC we had exploration diving around Bunaken; and we say hello to Holger as he starts his DMT in Bunaken.

Sea Serpents in LembonganThis week in Lembongan … Sea Serpents have been slithering around the dive sites of Lembongan. With one banded sea snake being seen on almost every dive. These amazingly graceful creatures are no concern to divers, just as divers are in the water to swim around, so are these snakes.

Exploration diving on CCR in BunakenThis week in tec … Tec instructors Hiro and Sandy have been out on the Megalodon rebreathers this week for some exploration diving around Bunaken. So much of the deeper reefs are left unexplored here, so we are slowly trying to get a handle on what’s below 40 meters. Already we have found quite an extensive hole at about 60 meters at a place just right of the dive spot Tajung Parigi – who knows how far in it goes and if it leads to a fuller sea cave!!
