This week has been rather great in Amed, as we were surprised by a truly graceful Manta Ray during a dive at Pyramid, a coral reef, 5 minutes away from our Dive Resort by boat. A true surprise knowing we never see one of these beauties flying around Amed.
The one we saw was a Manta Alfredi, commonly called Reef Manta Ray whose slightly smaller than the Manta Birostris, also called the Oceanic Manta Ray.
For most of us, it’s been a first-time, and you could hear it by the screams underwater. Jonathan and Clément, who were making their first bubble ever were super happy.
Also this week, Baron and Bayu, our senior Dive Guides started their PADI Rescue Diver course. It will, for sure, make them even better and safer than ever. All credits for the picture go to Krystyna Krupenik, whose been diving with us for a while now! Thank you!
