This has been a short week for diving because I went on a small trip to Kuala Lumpur!
During the time I was here, I did some more fun activities as a divemaster trainee! We completed the 800 meter swim, which was super tiring for the legs – I managed well as I was never that bad at swimming. Luckily we did it around a coral reef so we were also able to see nice corals and fish, while rushing through!
Another thing I had to do was the skill circuit. We completed it 3 times so far for practicing and soon do the final one. The more I practice the more I enjoy it 🙂
Before I went to Kuala Lumpur I met a really nice Swiss couple, which actually live really close to my place in Switzerland! What a surprise! They did a Discover Scuba Diver course in which I assisted. We had such a good time together, that we went for dinner at a Indonesian Restaurant. So delicious!
After they left I went to Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday because of my visa. I had to leave the country and come back again so I would get a new tourist visa. After the worst flight of my life I did some Sightseeing the next day.
My flight was 7 hours late and since I was really early at the airport in Lombok I waited around 10 hours. But somehow I made it to my hotel around 4 am the next day. What an adventure!
In Kuala Lumpur I visited the Petronas towers, the Chinese Temple and did some shopping! Really relaxing!
Now I have two more days left on Gili Air.
The next blog will be from Sekotong!
