This week in Lembongan… The island has become very busy with everyday we have had full boats. Havard from Norway who is visiting us for the third time already was been lucky enough to see eagle rays, marble rays, bamboo sharks, turtles, scorpion fish and because the water is getting colder he has been lucky to see two Mola.
We also welcomed Helena and Sas, our new PADI Divemaster Trainees, last week. Sas will spend two weeks with us before moving to Bunaken, Helena on the other hand has decided that she would like to do her whole course here in Lembongan. Becoming a PADI Pro takes quite a bit of hard work and a lot of studying. But let’s not forget about the fun during the course. Not everything is dead serious in the diving industry, safety is always the top priority but a good laugh should also be part of diving.
Their weeks of learning will be loaded with various tasks like making a dive site map, giving briefings to the guests, guiding divers and assisting instructors in courses. At the end they should be well rounded in knowledge about diving, equipment and how a dive center works. Ready to prevent or react to any problems that might occur underwater. At Two Fish we add a little to the regular PADI skills. As a 100% AWARE dive center we ask our DMTs to organize a dive site or beach cleanup. They will also spend time in the compressor room, helping to get tanks filled. One other thing we ask them to do is write a blog every week, so that our followers on Facebook can read about their adventures and get an insight into the course.

Es una pena q al final no podamos ir allí ..
