This week in Tec .. it has been a bit quieter after the holidays which of course means that we offered a Tech try dive in the pool to the resort guests! It being a bit chilly only our hardy Australian guests, Tarn and Cara from Melbourne gave it a go, and I can think of no better indication that they liked the configuration other than the first words out of Tarn’s mouth, “How much is one of these?”

During quiet times we busy ourselves maintaining our tec equipment, and fixing all the things that we haven’t had time to look at over the busy period. We of course also need to go for a dive ourselves; so we ran a couple of our instructors through their paces on the sidemount rigs. Seemed to go down well as there were a couple of tired smiles on their faces once they finally got everything down nice – instructors make the worst students!
