Why did we decide on Sanur as the best location for our newest dive centre? Read on to find out more….
Access All Areas: Do you want to dive with manta rays and see the iconic mola mola? Have you read about the incredible USAT Liberty World War II shipwreck in Tulamben? Are you hoping to see incredible reefs, macro life and drift dive in Candidasa, Padang Bai, or Gili Tepekong and Mimpang? Now you can, and you don’t need to be constantly drying out gear, packing, unpacking and wasting days due to transfers. With our dive trips from Sanur you can make daily excursions to all of these phenomenal areas whilst staying in one place.

Maximise Your Time In Bali: At Two Fish Divers we understand that you want to make the most of your stay in Bali and explore everything that Bali has to offer topside as well as underwater. By taking one day trips you can allocate diving days in your itinerary whilst staying where you want to be and exploring our beautiful island in between. Staying in Sanur: Did you know that Sanur was once just a small fishing village? Sanur has now developed from its small village origins and boasts a range of great restaurants and places to stay for those with backpacker to billionaire budgets. Sanur really does cater for everyone. Sanur is a totally unique area of South Bali – it has retained its traditional Balinese charm whilst offering everything you would expect from a holiday on the “Island of the Gods”. Sanur Beach is over 5km long and has a beach path which runs its entire length. Enjoy cycling or walking along the sea front, take yoga classes overlooking the ocean, try surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding or sea kayaking from just a step off the beach. If you are in Bali to relax and unwind book yourself in to one of Sanur’s numerous spas and literally have your stresses kneaded away. If you’re looking for a more active stay in Bali that’s possible too – white water rafting, mountain biking and even bungee jumping are all options accessible from Sanur! The highlight of staying in Sanur is that you will really experience Balinese culture. Unlike the more commercial tourist districts in Bali, Sanur is very much a community based area and you’ll see daily ceremonies, beautiful offerings, watch the local fishermen bringing in their catches, witness stunning sun rises and have everything on hand whilst enjoying the true Balinese vibe.
Dive Bali’s Best Dive Sites from Sanur
One Day Nusa Penida: If you’ve always dreamed of diving with manta rays (year round) or seeing mola mola (July to October) then Nusa Penida should be on your itinerary. We run 2 and 3 dive day trips from here in Sanur which take you to the best dive sites for an encounter. We recommend taking at least two day trips with us to ensure the best chances of a sighting. If manta and mola are the sole purpose of your trip, we recommend staying at our Two Fish Divers Nusa Lembongan Resort for an all inclusive experience and daily diving around the islands of Nusa Lembongan, Penida and Ceningan.
One Day USAT Liberty Shipwreck, Tulamben: Dive Bali’s most famous dive site! The USAT Liberty shipwreck is completely encrusted in coral and home to over 400 species of fish. Starting from just 5 meters and stretching to 30 metres deep this incredible wreck dive is suitable for all level of divers. This is also an ideal place to take your PADI Wreck Diving specialty.
One Day Blue Lagoon and Padang Bai: Stunning reefs, incredible macro and a wreck – Padang Bai offers diverse diving and is a hotspot for underwater photographers. Padang Bai Jetty is where you’ll find frogfish, ghost pipefish and a plethora of critters, Jepun is a nudibranch mecca and Blue Lagoon offers crystal clear conditions and a stunning coral wall as well as passing reef sharks and turtles.

One Day Gili Tepekong and Mimpang: These offshore rocky islets and pinnacles offer adrenaline pumping drifts, caves, canyons, rugged topographies and the best chance of diving with sharks in Bali. Due to the nutrient rich currents these sites attract abundant marine life and passing pelagics – keep an eye out to the blue as this is another seasonal mola hotspot!
One day Amed: Explore Amed underwater and enjoy a combination of incredible macro, reef sharks, big fish and the famous Japanese Wreck. This is a great day of diving for all levels and all tastes. All of our day trips include hotel pick ups and drop offs as well as lunches so you really can kick back, relax and let us take care of the logistics.
