Have you ever seen a Wobbegong Shark? As you can see on the picture this species looks totally different than other sharks like the Black Tip or the White Tip reef shark. The color and shape of the Wobbegong Shark allows them to hide perfectly in a reef or under a rock. If they don’t swim, they are hard to spot (this is also why they are known as “carpet sharks”) but if you see them swimming slowly and relaxed they put a smile on every divers face immediately.

Last week our guests Els, Sara and Jan saw a Wobbegong Shark at Crystal Bay, but you can also find them at Manta Bay or Manta Point. But there is not only Wobbegongs to see when you are diving around Nusa Lembongan….

In the past week we were really busy in teaching, and Jonathan from Germany was really lucky to see a Manta Ray and 5 Dolphins having a close look at him in Manta Bay during his PADI Open Water Diver course!!

Ilani, Sebastian, Benjamin and Manuel also took their PADI Open Water Diver courses last week and are now able to search for their favorite underwater creatures themselves.

We were also able to introduce a whole bunch of people into scuba diving. Paige and Spencer from the US, Daniel, Alex and Charlotte from the UK and Pilar, Javier and Jose from Spain all took the Discover Scuba Diving Experience in Nusa Lembongan with us and we are sure they all will be back underwater sooner rather than later, they all had a wonderful time exploring Nusa Lembongan with us!

Last but not least we had Paul with us who started with a refresher and after that finished his PADI Advanced Open Water Course with flying colors.
